Political Moderation is Not Always Good

I may offend some, but I must say that political moderates make me sick.  The "Middle-of-Road" ever which way the "Wind Blows" American is unwanted and unwelcome under my tent.  I have no use for them and never will.  I would rather sleep with that unkempt liberal with all his stupidity and lackadaisical views of the world than that flip-flopper who never knows what side of the bed he wakes upon and could care less. I do not care for the main stream or that "Sunshine Patriot" who will only pick up his musket after the battle is over and cheer on the victor  when the smoke of battle has cleared.  Give me that man who will plant his feet and take a stand as the battle swirls around him!

Yea, Obama is probably the most inept president in US history, but political extremism is no virtue and Goldwater was a complete nut job. The country would not have been better served with a nut like Goldwater or a neophyte like Obama in the white house.

On a more pragmatic note: please get everyone that you know to vote. Do not take it for granted that general dissatisfaction with Obama will be enough. He will have over $1 billion dollars to spend on the campaign. Let's vote his ass out.

"Moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue" .... hmmm ... so you empathize with Derek Bell and won't speak out about the 1991 video of Obama supporting him?! WTF?! I think what you mean to say is "Moderation in the pursuit of (my beliefs about what constitutes) justice (for people whose beliefs I agree & identify with) is no virtue." I mean, let's not be blind to our own intellectual hypocrisy -- b/c then we'd be liberals.
