MY WIFE, BARBARA AND I AND DOG BARNEY A FEW YEARS BACK. STANDING IN FRONT OF AN OLD SHOTGUN SHARE-CROPPERS HOUSE ON THE OLD PLACE IN AMITE COUNTY, MS. BARNEY AND BARBARA ARE GONE NOW BUT THE OLD HOUSE REMAINS. IT REMAINS WITH IT MEMORIES. MEMORIES OF BARBARA AND THE DAYS OF MY YOUTH WHEN I USE TO WALK FROM THE OLD BIG HOUSE AND VISIT WITH THE BLACKS THAT WORKED FOR MY GRANDFATHER. THE OLD CEDAR TREE IN FRONT IS GONE NOW ALSO. I STILL HAVE THE HOUSE AND THE 10 ACRES IT SITS ON---ALL THAT'S LEFT OF THE OLD PLACE.

What a sweet, heartwarming photo. How fortunate that the land is still in your family. I feel so saddened that Barbara is no longer by your side. She still lives in your heart and memories and I take comfort in knowing that she is with the One Who loves us best. One day we will all be together and never say goodbye again. Thank you for sharing Ron. God bless. Pamela ~:)
