Flight from Detroit

DURING THE PAST 30-40 YEARS HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS HAVE LEFT THE MOTOR CITY IN SEARCH OF A BETTER AND SAFER LIFE. THE DEMOCRATS IN CHARGE OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT HAVE DESPERATELY TRIED TO MAKE UP FOR REVENUE LOSSES DUE TO A DECLINING POPULATION BY RAISING TAXES ON THOSE REMAINING.  BY DOING THIS THAT ONLY ADDED TO THE FLIGHT OF PEOPLE AND BUSINESS FROM THE CITY THEREBY REDUCING REVENUES EVEN FURTHER.  NOW THE CITY HAS HAD TO DECLARE BANKRUPTCY.  A BANKRUPTCY THAT THAT WILL LEAVE TEN OF THOUSAND OF RETIRED CITY EMPLOYEES WONDERING ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THEIR RETIREMENT CHECKS.  THANKS TO AFTERMATH FOR ABOVE IMAGE.
